3rd April 2017 -Using sewing machines provided, learn to make a useful roll up fabric tote bag perfect for keeping with you to avoid those bag charges and it will look much prettier than a carrier bag! This workshop would be great for a beginner sewer and you will learn basic sewing techniques and how to use a sewing machine. Basic sewing equipment is available for use but please bring the following materials with you:
- Cotton fabric for the main body and handles of the bag – 50cm x 75cm minimum
- Cotton fabric for the contrast / top of the bag – 50cm x 35cm minimum
All Craftea Workshops are based at Ross Street Community Centre, 75 Ross Street, Cambridge, CB1 3UZ
This workshops runs from 6.45pm until 9.15pm and includes a tea/coffee/juice and homemade cakes or biscuits and lots of guidance and help.
